Terms

Relight is a private server run by Melefo. Using it means these terms apply to you. They are short because the service is small and nothing is sold.

What this is

Relight answers the requests an old build of Destiny 2 makes of a server, so that the copy of the game you already own has something to talk to. It is a hobby project. Nothing is charged, no money changes hands, and there is nothing to buy.

What it is not

It is not Bungie's, and it is not Sony's. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to either of them. See the notices.

It does not give you the game. No part of the game is hosted here or handed out here. You need your own copy, obtained lawfully, and whatever terms came with that copy are still between you and whoever gave it to you.

Your account

Choose a password that is yours alone and do not hand it to anybody. What is done under your account is treated as done by you.

You may delete the account whenever you like, from the account page, and everything goes with it.

How to behave

Do not use this to harass anybody, to break into anything, to attack the service or the people on it, or to break the law of the place you are in. Do not attempt to interfere with other players' sessions or with the running of the servers.

An account may be suspended or erased if it is used that way. Where the reason is not obvious, it will be given.

No promises

This is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, it may lose your characters, it may stop entirely, and it may do any of those without warning. Nobody is on call. To the extent the law allows, Melefo is not liable for anything that follows from using it, and nothing here is warranted to be fit for any purpose.

Where the law of the place you live gives you rights that this cannot take away, it does not take them away.

Ending

You may stop at any time by deleting your account. The service may stop at any time, in which case what is held is deleted rather than kept.

Changes

These terms may change. Continuing to use the service after they change is how you accept the change; if you would rather not, delete the account.

Which law

These terms are read under the law of France, and its courts are the ones that settle anything arising from them.
